These Aloha Shrimp Burgers are a tropical delight! Packed with juicy shrimp, pineapple, and a spicy kick, they bring a taste of the islands to your plate. Perfect for a summer barbecue or anytime you crave a unique burger experience.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves and tomato slices for garnish
Instructions:
Pulse the shrimp in a food processor until they are very small pieces
Put the pineapple chunks, red bell pepper, garlic, green onions, salt, and black pepper in a bowl
Add the chopped shrimp and mix them all together
Combine well
Make 4 burgers out of the mix
Set a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat and add a little oil to it
The shrimp patties should be cooked for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have a golden crust
To make spicy mayo, mix mayonnaise and sriracha sauce in a small bowl
You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned
Put some spicy mayo on the bottom half of each bun
On each bun, put a shrimp patty, then lettuce leaves and tomato slices
Put the other half of the bun on top
